Sidari, Corfu GREECE - Guide to Sidari holidays
Sidari is on Corfu's sandy north coast, 36km north of Corfu town and the airport. The resort is well geared for tourists and still evolving, with many amenities and activities on offer. There are numerous little coves and beaches to discover, eroded over the years from the soft sandstone coastline. Sidari has something to offer everyone, and consequently attracts a mixed clientele. Little San Stefanos is on a hillside on the sandy north west coast of Corfu and its golden sands shelve gently into the sea, offering families a safe haven for paddling.
It's a busy, lively resort with good eating options and nightlife, but there are pockets of Corfiot culture spotted through its winding roads and sweet alleys. Sidari beach is divided into three parts, the main beach is a long sandy bay, where the water is calm and shallow making it a favourite for families with children. The other beaches are found near the harbour to the east and the famous coves of the Canal D'Amour to the west. The Canal D'Amour is an area of eroding cliffs that have formed several sand and shingle coves.

Information about Sidari beach
The long sandy beach of Sidari is situated in front of the homonymous very popular and crowded enough tourist resort, within a wonderful landscape, some 36 kilometers Northwestern to the town of Corfu. In fact there are three successive beaches, very close one to another. The beaches are at their major part sandy and partly with small pebbles, with shallow and safe water, ideal for families with small children. However, you are advised to be careful when entering the sea, as the water is very cold, even in full summer. Swimming and sunbathing is marvelous at the nice, well-organised sandy beaches of the village, awarded a blue flag: at the beach beside the small port, or at the long beach with shallow and safe sea, ideal for children and with numerous sunbeds and umbrellas.
Finally, you may swim at the famous beach with the romantic name “Canal d’ amour” (“the Channel of Love”). Here, you will swim among the rocks transformed to natural sculptures by the wind and the water. If you like sea sports, a Water Park is available for you. And, if you like to have a light meal when at the beach, several snack bars are available.

Sidari Corfu holiday Reviews:
Sidari - Liam. Date of travel: Sep 2006
Had a fantastic holiday in Sidari and would recommend it to anyone, especially young lads or girls going with their mates. Its not as bustling as places like Magalluf however it has great nightlife, the best i have been to! Definteley go to Ceasers, Ice bar, Shakers and the Bed bar, which are all brilliant. i am definetley going back next year, because of the nightlife and the friendly people. the beach is ok but isnt the best, however the night will make you want to come back every year. Great music, the clubs look out onto the beach, and the place offers the correct assets for a great nite out. Didnt want to come home!! Great holiday.
