The beach of Tsilivi, some 1000 meters far from the beautiful tourist resort of Planos, is situated at a distance of 7 kilometers northern to the town of Zakynthos, at a lovely area with luxuriant green. It is a long, sandy beach very popular both for the wonderful sea and the facilities it offers. In summer, especially during the peak periods it attracts a lot of visitors and it is usually crowded. A lot of hotels, studios and rooms to let of all categories are available at the beach and in the area around. It is worth seeing the interesting Nautical Museum, with a rich collection of aquarelles depicting various kinds of ship from antiquity up to nowadays.
